I've been trying to find information on how a persons weight can affect the performance of a car as in how many miles you'd get out of a full tank and wear and tear to tyres, etc but struggling to find any information on Google.

For example if a 140lb man drove an identical car to a 240lb man would they get the same amount of mileage with a full tank of fuel, also would the tyres wear down quicker for the 240lb man. Would the difference be little or significant?

Load impacts fuel use, probably not enough to matter when it comes to average weight variance between adults.

Would be extremely small, in a 2500 lb car (average) the 100 lb difference between the two people is less than 5% of the total weight. The biggest factor in fuel economy at higher speeds is aerodynamics and weight is quite low down the list, fuel spent when accelerating would go up slightly though.
