It all depends on your view of the notion of "time", of which a "moment" is a form of measurement. In this belief, in a linear sense, each moment in time is differentiated from all others, whilst moving in a straight line....from the past - the present - to the future.

Another perspective is to not view time as simply "linear", but in that all tenses coexist simultaneously, at the exact same time. And therefore, each "moment", is actually one and the same.

Ballard's goal, Watson's winner, Brobbey at SJP, Wor Nick's header, Talbi at The Bridge, today. Incidents not separated by so called "days, weeks and months" etc. But, all existing at the exact same "moment" in space and time. For eternity.

I believe this is what some people call "heaven".

The Dan Ballard moment or the playoff final?
For edge of your seat impact and drama, no. For barely believable achievement, yes.
Achievement yes,

But moment not for me. That ballard goal was something else I think I'll struggle to experience anything better than that
The Ballard goal and unbelievable drama in the last seconds of that game will be replayed for decades.
And Dan and Sunderland fans will have an unforgettable memory to warm the cockles of their hearts till the day they die.

Fine margins. Without that goal and drama, we'd be where Boro and Millwall and Sheff utd are now.

Yes. I was in primary school for our other brief taste of Europe. Never dreamed it would happen again. But today wouldn't have happened without those moments from last year. All will stay with me forever.

This. The Ballard moment was years of hurt finally let go in a last second winner. A whole stadium, an entire city realising that the light at the end of the tunnel wasn’t out. It was the beginning of the new Sunderland.

I’ve just seen we are in Pot 3 and potential away trips. I can’t believe what I’m seeing. My dad burst into tears at full time. He never thought he’d see us in Europe. I didn’t either tbh. Let’s embrace it and show the world what we are. Once in a lifetime stuff this. I’ve never been a
So happy. That’s Regis and Xhaka speech at full time were incredible.
Thank you Sunderland you have made my dads dreams come true 🔴⚪🔴⚪

That is my best day ever as a Sunderland fan…..52 months ago we got stuffed 6 nil at Bolton….our Club is very special. Overriding emotion…..immense pride. An incredible unreal achievement.

Watson
Ballard
Brobbey v mags
Final whistle today

All amazing for different reasons but in that order there is no argument about the significance and emotion behind each of them. To the day the best 12 months watching Sunderland I’ve experienced

I’ve been going for 50 mostly shite years so it’s the biggest thing we’ve done since Brotherhood of man won Eurovision!!!
