Does anyone think we stay up?

I mean you also called Bournemouth mate :D
Not alone, I originally said Burnley, Brentford Bournemouth, quickly replaced Bournemouth with Wolves but looks like Brentford was way off as well🤣. My reasoning was Bournemouth and Brentford had just lost too many good players and in Brentford case their manager.

We need another 6 wins and 6 draws to hit 38 points who some think is the magic number.

We won't go down.

Wolves
Burnley
Brentford

Leeds are in danger too, I'm not sure where they are going to get goals from.

I think Brentford will struggle. They'll be bottom 6.

Yeah that's exactly my workings out as well. I had a look and in the last 15 seasons IIRC the most points that went down was 37. So if we need 38 then it's 24 points from the last 30 games. Doable.

On the basis that the league looks tighter already which could change. I reckon 38 minimum will be needed.

Everything I seem to see from their fans says they're not too hopeful themselves.

Lack of goals, strange team selections, don't seem to have too much faith in manager, and poor investment seems to be their gripes right now. I don't know much about their summer signings, but they're not happy with their wide forward options and don't think DCL is gonna fire then to safety either.

Mad how 26 points would have kept you up last season, and 27 the season before that. Won't be that low this season.

Wolves
Burnley

There’s your bottom 3 … Leeds and Burnley have loads of players who fall into the very good championship but not good enough for the PL category

Yes last season none of the bottom 3 won a game before October, this year has been 7 wins from the 3 promoted clubs so expect quite a bit more than 26/27 will be needed. I'me hoping 35 will be enough leaving us needing 21 from 30 games which we can hopefully do.

One take on Burnley is they have now taken 6 points from the other promoted clubs, so if they get a draw from their other games against us and Leeds they will have gained 3 points over both promoted teams, and that is a big start point, so they could well stay up. Hoping we take at least 6 points from our 4 games against Leeds/Burnley
