Does anybody hate the mags?

no the whole argument stemmed from your inability to understand that football like life is becoming more about the rich and the also rans don't count, the examples i gave were for biased referees and the in club nature of the fa and there own comments such as wanting man United back at the top and Greg dyke feeling safe to blame clubs like Sunderland For England's failure to produce more talent despite clubs like chelsea and arsenal somehow not even mentioned, you then wrongly presumed that I'd be happy is safc were in man United position which was wrong from you once again.

Finally you criticised me for my rose tinted specs because i felt safc are not given a fair crack of the whip by London based media including sky and by the fa, now i think I've already given ample examples of such bias above but if you look at Darren Bent being told to leave safc and Adam Johnson never even given a friendly after being the pick of the English players in his position for 3 months.

then we can include the woman's team when the new league was formed and the arsenal team didn't want to travel up to Sunderland due to costs but i personally think it was also a tactical thing from them due to the naturally high amounts of woman who are interested in watching or playing in Sunderland, when they had the bids in place for the 8 team league they didn't even show sinderlands bid, this despite being in the top8 of the old league, then again after winning their league repeatedly they were overlooked in favour of other less successful teams who leapfrogged them into the wspl.

I'm sure you'll invent some reasons for all of the above because some people just aren't prepared to see what's in front of them
It's business man FFS. Survival of the fittest. I gave you plenty examples of decisions have gone our way down the years at well but you continually sidestepped them and started waffling about referee bias and other bollocks! I'm a big fan of Johnson but I wouldn't have picked him for England either. As for southern biased it's not that long ago the England captain was playing for a team even further north than us man! You wouldn't give a shit if some rich Arab came in and bankrolled us and we became another Man City as much as you claim you wouldn't like it. I for one would be delighted.

You wouldn't would you? I'm not going to try and explain again how it sounded.
You dismissed out of hand a massive chunk of our support, saying they don't understand the game because they haven't played it. I suppose you have no idea what I'm talking about with that either.
Seriously I can't understand why you don't see it
Just because somebody doesn't have a grasp of something doesn't mean they cant go and enjoy it. I don't understand how somebody can play the guitar but I still enjoy watching the stone roses and admiring John Squire.

The bloke is a clown Janey, best of ignoring and hoping this thread dies away fro his own sake.
Yep, and I have to go out to take me mam and dad to North Shields for their Cruise Ship. Mind I'm quite surprised me dad booked it to make sure he was back for the first game of the season in case we were at home. He doesn't understand football at all

A direct comparison to Mig you'll find. Wasn't just a case of dismissing him like so many on here so regarding top pros
Unless you've kept goal in a Premier League game I fail to see how you can compare given that you won't understand goalkeeping. Your rules.

I can compare how one goalkeeper may react to a situation as oppose to another. However if Ray Houghton decides to tell me I'm clueless then I will now down to that and accept his assessment.

you're just making stuff up now

So you know better than him then is that what your saying?

Ray Houghton hasn't played professional football for 14 years, even longer since he played top flight. The game has changed massively since then. It's not incomprehensible, playing by your rules here, to say he isn't qualified to comment on the modern day Premier League. I wouldn't say that of course.

I know far more about Sunderland AFC than Ray Houghton. Yes.
Precisely.

To be fair to Jarlid here, unless Andy Townsend tells me that a forward will be disappointed that he missed an open goal, I would never know. I would assume the forward is chuffed.

But you can't comment on how talented he is or isn't right? Much the same that a match goer can't comment on how talented or not a footballer is, despite the fan being able to enjoy the match in front of him or her. Have I got this right here?

Well my point has been well and truly missed (not so much missed as chosen to ignore).
Poor souls.

Anybody can comment. It's the validity of the comments that is open to debate.

No I'm not.

Keep deluding yourself and keep your head up.
You are great, we know this as you have told us often enough. I reckon your last post on this thread should be calling me thick for old times sake.

I have a bad neck at the moment, it hurts , but as I am not a medical man I am convinced I am wrong and it doesn't hurt.
I watched Usain Bolt lead home the Jamaican relay team last night. I also saw him annihilate the opposition in the last two Olympics. I had an idea he was fast but only knew for sure when Michael Johnson confirmed it after the race.
