Does Advocaat go out of date?

Discovered an unopened bottle of advocaat at the back of my drinks cabinet think it’s off around 2006 when I had some Dutch friends visiting.

Does anyone please know if it will be ok to drink? It still looks quite fresh.
 

I think it's got a half life similar to plutonium, there always seems to be an old bottle of it knocking about in a cupboard and dragged out at parties for the unwary or immensely pissed to try
 
Anyone else not buying this ''Dutch friends' nonsense. OP got given the gear by an elderly female relative at Christmas, in exchange for a sloppy kiss on the cheek - nailed on.
 
Give it a go, whats the worst could happen. Was always the only alcoholic drink we was aloud at Christmas time as kids, although we pilfered the drinks cabinet when our parents went out.

Ha Funnily enough the person who bought the Advocaat was called Dick! Must be a popular name in Holland.

Same here used to love snowballs as a kid.
