Do we envy the Mags too much?

I take it when you say "us", you mean newcastle.

 He get them relegated a few seasons ago, spent £50m and still only won the league on the final day.

I know what the narrative on here is about their relegation. I base my opinions on facts though.

bloody hell we are self imploding

any post about the reality of where we are at

is met with the "must be a mag" crap

we are basically totally fucked as a football club

but we concentrate on rafa and Newcastle

when we should concentrate on getting rid of the owner

but even then we mention newcastle bedsheets

going f***ing bankrupt will put us out of our misery

the signs have been there for years

most views for a long time is about the mags and rafa

as we head towards English league division 1

can we at least not lose our self respect?
Not sure if envy is the right word, Andy, but obsess might be. Just look at the current thread as an example. I just put them on ignore as they appear (apart from one or two who haven't pissed me off yet;)). Too busy following and worrying about our own under-achievers at present:neutral:

He took over at your place only a point adrift from safety

His teams are so effective because his expectations of his players is drilled into them over and over again until the penny drops. Going there with 10 games left to turn around somebody else's squad wasn't going to be a walk in the park for him. He lost 3 in his first 4 then it started coming together, going unbeaten the rest. I watched them against Spurs where they were superbly set up until the red card and I watched them against West Ham (with us on the radio in the background) and I reckon he'll have them comfortable in mid-table if he stays.

I think the difference there was that means we given the money to buy the right players to walk the division. Grayson was given a threpenny bit, a crisp packet and a toffee apple wrapper to buy players.
I wish our board backed Grayson like the mags backed Benitez 30m Pickford fee plus Borini and Lens loan fees plus a few extra million would guarantee promotion and 100m premier league money next season.

Our squad is more than £40-50m away from 'guaranteed' promotion like.

Well they certainly help in OUR moment of need.
Also, there is no evidence for your assertion as to the direction of ours club's fortune.

agree marra, just put mags in the thread title and the swarm begins, says it all, this will be up to 15 pages by tomorrow

He did set up well against Spurs.

He won't have you near mid table.

They wouldn't even be close to relegation if he stays, whether he fancies a season where that is the height of his ambitions is another question

Is that why he has only managed to beat the worse team in the league at home this season? What happened when he lost his 3 other games, only one away from home, a blip?

You sound like a deluded rafa arse licker.

It wouldn't guarantee anything other than increased debt.

It's the most cringeworthy and embarassing part of this board, and on social media.

200+ pages on another team's manager ffs. Not to mention it's the second such thread this summer.

And some on here have the gall to bandy about phrases like obsessed and lacking self-awareness. The irony is stunning.
No mate mag sympathisers like you are.
