Disappointing that Cole Palmer never held his Mascots hand.

The age range for mascots at Sunderland is 6 to 12. A couple of those Chelsea mascots look way older than that. If you were 14 stone in the last year of primary it sounds like you were clinically obese. I was the opposite at age 10, about 5'5" and 4 and a half stones wet through 😳. Approaching age 70 I'm now 6'2" and 15 and a half stones 😵‍💫.

Aye the bairn was 12 when he did it and he was worried he'd be the biggest kid there. Nee chance, one of the kids was tall enough to turn up wearing an adult shirt. They swapped it for a bigger one they had without the betting sponsor on the front.

Is it just me that finds the fact that people know what their height and weight was at primary school a bit strange, I can’t say that I remember it ever being on my list of must know things.

Yep remember it well 😂 like I said I was a really big lad for my age as well. Poor ma had to buy be size 11 shoes in primary school. Funny thing is I’m only a size 12 now 😂😂

Yeah we would get weighed and measured at school. I was also in and out of drs as a kid as me ma though there was something wrong with me as we were poor in the 80s she knew what she was feeding me and I was big and heavy 😂 I still have me mas voice burned in my head from when I was a toddler “be careful Stephen” as I was three times the size of kids my age 😂 turned out my dads grandad (we left him when I was two) we later found out he was pretty much Andre the giant. I just grew early as I’m only 6ft 2 etc now but was huge all throughout childhood.
