Dirty Leeds United

Whatever your opinion of Leeds they had a decent squad and strengthened well. They seem to well run, well supported and have looked good at times this season. If they end up going down it's not great for football.

We are a freakish example of how to stay up. Go up with little debt, low wage bill and a couple of players you can flog for decent money and replace relatively easily. It's going to be a long time before a club can do that again.

I got talking to a lad in a Leeds top a couple of years ago in a pub. Mentioned the rivalry/hatred between us and he said he hadn’t heard of it, had no idea what I was talking about, but he hates Man U.

He was a little spenk.
I’ve got a couple of good mates who went Leeds home and away, even during their bad years, that are canny.

But most of them are complete spenks, so that doesn’t surprise me at all.

You struck gold selling Bellingham jnr for decent money.

Living off his brothers name that boy.

No, although some on here will probably say I should support them. Technically, Bradford are my hometown club but I've lived in Leeds a long time.

I don’t have any love for the football clubs I live nearby. If anything I dislike them more than I did. Although Arsenal I have a bit of a soft spot for having been to a few of their games.

Just a funny one growing up there. Can’t imagine it.

Jobe is a good player who hasn't been served well by the Bellingham hype. We got full value for him and Tommy Watson. I love them both but ultimately they weren't the kind of player we needed this season. Maybe if they weren't so eager to leave we wouldn't have sold. We'd have had a young central midfielder who's still learning the game and a winger who needs minutes in mens football.

Don't get me wrong, we've become a well run club but you can't factor these things in.

He's a good player but has too many people around him telling him he's the same player as his brother when he should be looking to be a #6.

Controversial but I think his brother has the chance to be a world class number six (in the modern game) but has instead has become a flat track bully further forward.

He's at least got the skills and mobility to be effective further forward, Jobe just can't do that side at all.

Time one of the so called big clubs went down. Spurs for me,starting with a hammering at our place on Sunday.

He's obviously a much better footballer than Jobe. I think Jude could handle himself in a defensive midfield role and become an absolute weapon when has opportunity to join in. Especially in international football when it would mean he's the spare player. Like an old fashioned sweeper if you are of a certain vintage.

Might be the parents influence, must be a reason both are always shoehorned into attacking areas and have only very, very rarely been used as a more traditional central midfielder, never mind a #6.

I don't think you can blame the parents. If my dad had sway on matters I'd have more Sunderland appearances than Monty by now. I don't think going to Madrid did Jude any favours. It's like they bought him for galacticto money so put him in a galactico role. He's obviously good enough to do that to a point. Good players can play anywhere but great managers put them where they are most effective.

Quite a few injury concerns. Rumours Stach out for the season and possibly Rondon.

Some hard fixtures remaining and currently 19th in the form table.

Man U
West Ham
Spurs

Some easier ones with Bournemouth, Wolves, Brighton and Burnley

Plus a FA semi final

Hope they go down, horrible club.
