They were particularly shite in the second half. Throwing themselves to the ground out of desperation without creating much, despite needing to. If they think they deserved anything from that game, they are deluded.

I think we deserved it, just, I thought it was an awful game like. The game was littered with miss placed passes, over hit crosses, very little flowing play & this was from both teams. Even the winning goal was a heavy deflection. I’ll take a win like this all day long though, we’ve lost loads of games like this in the past. Plus it’s nice to see another nail knocked into spurs coffin. I’m not bothered whether it’s Spurs or West Ham, as long as it’s one of them.

Incredible that like. You’d think they’d be raging at their team. Fair play to Jamie O’Hara who said that they were terrible, deserved nowt and that Sunderland took control of the game.

Find it weird how some fans determine who deserves to win and what's lucky.
You get people saying a team is lucky to get a result if their keeper has an outstanding game (doing his role really well) for example.
Or if a team misses easy chances, so are shite in front of goal, that's somehow being unlucky, or the opposition is lucky.
In this instance, you can argue we got a bit of luck with the goal, but no one says it's unlucky when a shot is flying in, but takes a deflection to go wide. It was positive play that was rewarded.
We created much the better chances and one went in. So I'd say we deserved to win.
