Dicks future in doubt again

Wasting your time marra. They've been banging on about how great Short is for weeks and they're refusing to believe this. Complete and utter denial.

Absolute nonsense and such an easy comment to make.

People may just not want to believe the worst, that doesn't make you as superior as you like to believe.

Who has been saying 'how great Short is' ......... go on, quote someone if you can.

All I've seen is trying to take a balanced view whereas the likes of you think you always know best and can insult a large proportion of the board.

What an arrogant unpleasant man you are.

I bet he will be!

I'm reserving judgement until the end of the window, it's too easy to simply lash out.

Yes, I could stamp my feet and wring my hands but this could yet end better than it looks at the moment.

Short needs no more prompting, from Advocaat, and he'll know the mood of the support.

This truly is a 'shit or bust' situation and Short knows everyone in the Sunderland world is looking straight at him.

@CraigHope_DM: Dick Advocaat future as SAFC boss in fresh doubt tonight after taking swipe at Ellis Short & admitting he's not happy
Watershed moment thats been coming for a while

Serious question keep getting asked
No more than now ... Dick was begged to return now he's as sick as anybody that this farce just isn't ending

How does Ellis expect us to be competstive or even retain league status on a shoestring ?

Typical Sunderland ... Isn't it
I hate that term be it keep re occurring

I hope the conversation went like this "Listen Ellis, its not my fault you wasted millions on previous managers, give me the f***ing money or I am off" Makes him sound like a bank robber. Why has the club decided to steal the "Circus" description from the fuckers up the road, it seems unusually quiet up there at the moment

In what way are we on a shoestring?

It's not just previous managers look at his comments on the defence. We have signed three defenders this summer.

His comments are fair enough and we do need a couple of players.

However, the first two games of the season were nothing to do with Short.

There will be a hell of a backlash against Short if Dick walks out.
Led by Paxton and Trading Places? The pair of them have spent the whole summer (with many others) blaming Congerton, the one person he took the time to praise.

Ellis isn't thick FFS, its basics. Either we get better players or you'll be funding shit loads more debt next season, stay up and we get bumper deals for 3+ years and you can reduce the debt your supporting. For the sake of £20m we could make an extra £80m+

Taken from The Guardian article

'Asked if Sunderland were finding the transfer market a difficult place this summer, he replied somewhat cryptically. “It’s as hard as they want,” he said.'

Doesn't sound that cryptic to me, he's basically saying if you spend the money it becomes easier, spend nothing and it's hard.
Interestingly says 'they'
