Dicks future in doubt again

Dick should grow up and stop f***ing whinging.
He wasn't capable of picking a team to get a point and home from a newly promoted team for fucks sake.
He is also not filling the lads he has got with confidence with his constant claims they are not good enough
Shape up or ship out Dick

No short should trust the judgement of the man he had appointed and give him the bloody money to do the job. Micky gray might be a bit of an idiot but he was spot on with his comments.

I wish it was finished with. I came home after three weeks of twelve hour night shifts hoping to chill out for a bit, I've had more stress in the last three days than I've had in the last three weeks . You'd think after forty odd years I'd be used to it, saying that like i think if I did get used to it and it stopped being important, then that's probably time to rap it in and take up croquet.:lol:
Aye so much for three weeks off putting your feet up and chilling with a clear conscience ;) :)

Being reported in the dutch press today about dick being unhappy and giving short an ultimatum regarding further signings - not looking good this !!

i still think those first two results had a lot to do with match fitness and probably the decision to drop o'shea both of which Dick would have to take at least some responsibility for although experienced senior professional footballers should be able to manage their own fitness to some extent.

as far as Dick's tactics to get more quality into the squad, it's a shame he's having to go to these lengths in public but he would only be doing it this way if he'd ran out of other options.

Bollox match fitness, they had the same pre season as any other clubs, the management and coaching staff should ensure fitness instead of poncing about in the USA.

Youve hit a big nail on the head here. People are firmly advocating giving Dick big money to spend despite our financial predicament. What do they know about Dick to suggest he would spend it any more wisely than his predecessors did and which led us to this mess

Lens and M'Vila as opposed to Buckley and Bridcutt or Mavrias and Cabral?

in a past game :D:D:D not a future game. only in this place.

and as others have said results don't affect shorts spending.

Give it up mate, I'm not the one who clearly wished for a heavy defeat last saturday and now you are admitting that Short wouldn't base spending on results. Mad. I'm out.

The defence of the indefensible continues I see.

f***ing hell. It's all down to the manager again......some just absolutely refuse to see what's in front of them.

I'm glad that this time we have a manager with the past success and reputation to be able to show Short up for what he is and not be dismissed so easily. Even if a few apologists on here will keep spouting crap.

The majority of our fans aren't falling for it this time and neither are the press. Short better get his act together quick.

More chance of biting me own backside  might nip off to Syria for a long weekend, got to be less chew than this.:lol:

On and on it goes...." We are not standing for it this time"....etc etc....It will be the same old story next year and the one after that. You know it will. Options:

A) stay away
B) find something to like about it.

Great post ........... except no one has actually said that

Just because someone defends/attacks the owner/manager/scouts it doesn't mean they can't see other aspects.

Advocaat hasn't come out of this entirely blameless and his comments won't be attracting players imo.

You seem to wish to polarise people so you have someone to feel superior to.

Our nearest and dearest chose a different option. They openly complained and low and behold their owner spend some money/showed some ambition.

Why are we so passive?

They've been complaining for years and Ashley has done very little different, this season, than he's done before.

Bought players to sell on, appointed a cheap option manager and kept players like Williamson.

The only difference is that he came on TV for 30 seconds claiming it's all changed and everyone who wanted to believe him swallowed it all.
