I haven't been impressed with him since he returned from AFCON, but the midfield three today was very reminiscent of the three we saw during our early season form. Worked together like they'd played in the same side for half a decade.

2 goals and 5 assists in 13 starts. Makes things happen, doesn’t hide, runs all day. That final pass is lacking atm but I think he’s a very good player whose transfer fee is used against him.

Exactly right. For example, at times Xhaka covered left back when Reinildo went forward, then another time Diarra was covering the same area and Xhaka was higher up the pitch.
Sadiki covered everywhere else.
