The defender did very well to ease him out of the way. Probably could have been a bit stronger like.

I think he got a nudge but I also think he may have been leaving it to Rigg

Either way, should have been trying to control with a touch and shooting next touch. Probably right then left

Dropped deeper quite a bit today and looked more rounded. Bad decision on the 3 on 2 but notably good overall. It’s just a bit of a shame that Enzo gets shunted out wide (and doesn’t have a great impact) to include him.
 
I think he will come really good, hopefully he stays here and develops.
He’s only 22 and played 14 games in the premier league.
 
Said it earlier in the week in here the lads had a stop start season. Still so young and came for a lot of money into the toughest league in the world. He’s missed half a season between injury and the afcon. Won’t see him at his best till next season but he’s shown a few games how good a player he can be on his day, just gotta make it his day more often.
 
He’s a good player imo, might be next season we really see him come into his own for us. He’s still only about 21, right?

My man of the match today. I was very critical of him after very lacklustre performances against Oxford, Leeds, Port Vale & Brighton. The posts are on here.

However, happy to give credit where it’s due, very good against Newcastle when he wouldn’t have got near the pitch for me & excellent today. Hope to see that continue in the next 6 games.
