Not sure about that mind, they benched him for their top of the group match against Congo last international break.I think he’ll definitely go to AFCON if there’s a chance he can play, he’s their star player isn’t he?

He has been struggling this season however, sure he had a late fitness test against Burnley so could just be managing his minutes. Not sure about that mind, they benched him for their top of the group match against Congo last international break.
I do know and you are.Unfortunately. A pelvic scan usually is a hint of groin issues.
That’s bollocks.
If you know you know.
Maybe I’m just The Messiah of truth.
I wonder if the late fitness test was linked to the injury that be has now?He has been struggling this season however, sure he had a late fitness test against Burnley so could just be managing his minutes.
Depends how much we trust Senegal’s medical department tbh. If he wants to go and they want him, unsure if there’s much we can do.I wonder if the late fitness test was linked to the injury that be has now?
If he is fit but not match fit and goes to the AFCON it might be better for him after his injury. Gets him a change of scenery, warm weather and not the same intensity of football. He gets some training out there and minutes, then in January we get somebody that is ready to play.
On the flip side if we haven't deemed him as fit, and haven't played him, would we have to release him? The worry is that they could take him to the AFCON when he isn't ready and play him, and he gets injured again
He’s not there in terms of the physicality and ground coverage Diarra brings, I think that’ll be a big loss
I trust Senegals medical department just a little more than Nigerias...which is not a lot tbfDepends how much we trust Senegal’s medical department tbh. If he wants to go and they want him, unsure if there’s much we can do.
Sure it was said we've no obligation to release players for itDepends how much we trust Senegal’s medical department tbh. If he wants to go and they want him, unsure if there’s much we can do.

Yep lose tomorrow and it's looking bleak.I genuinely think it could be the difference between us staying up and going down.
He's one of these players that many won't realise how good he is until he's not there.
He drives us up the field so quickly. That's a massive loss for a side who's game plan is built around sitting in and counter attacking.
Having a £30m CM player likely to miss around 30% of our games this season due to injury and AFCON is a devastating blow, and that's a best case scenario in terms of games missed!

Ahh well. The season was fun while it lasted I suppose.I genuinely think it could be the difference between us staying up and going down.
Out of the three midfielders Xhaka Sadiki and Diarra i think he's the one that's we will miss the least, I don’t think he's hit anywhere near his true potential yet but is going to be undoubtedly a top player. Xhaka and Sadiki have been amazingI genuinely think it could be the difference between us staying up and going down.

Agree with this, he'll still be a miss thoughOut of the three midfielders Xhaka Sadiki and Diarra i think he's the one that's we will miss the least, I don’t think he's hit anywhere near his true potential yet but is going to be undoubtedly a top player. Xhaka and Sadiki have been amazing![]()
And we coped pretty impressively against VillaI think Diarra has been generally very good for us in his limited appearances, it's clear the quality he has.
He's undoubtedly going to be a massive loss. But we knew we weren't going to go through the season unscathed.
^^^ stuck out like a sore thumb how much we missed him first half. This^^^^ cant be underestimated how much defensive work Talbi does. His attacking play will come, the more games he plays.
I think the formation was much bigger than him being out TBF. Especially with masuaku at left back^^^ stuck out like a sore thumb how much we missed him first half.
