Diarra out till December

The fear was RLB wouldnt change the midfield but now we'll see what Rigg and Neil can do.

This Dutch fella can play the holding midfield role iirc

None of us are RLB /Vulcano etc but I predict Diarra is going to be hard pressed to get his starting spot come January
Rigg has been over achieving and exceeding expectations since he was 15. He has role models of an utterly different level in Xhaka, Sadiki, Mukiele, Alderete and he’ll push himself to make sure he is with them in terms of ability, mindset etc etc
My prediction may come back to bite me but I feel quietly very confident about him, and for club to give someone just turned 18 a contract till they are 23 speaks volumes

He’s not there in terms of the physicality and ground coverage Diarra brings, I think that’ll be a big loss

This season looks to be set up very nicely for his continuing development, thanks to the fantastic recruitment. Never needs to be any undue pressure on him and hopefully he (and everyone) enjoys SAFC not being just another Southampton of Sheffield Utd of the past couple of years.

This is the way.
Unfortunately. A pelvic scan usually is a hint of groin issues.
I have to admit you got it correct and also I made no comment until I saw if this was indeed true. As for people being doubters etc it is more based towards you over the posts you generally put up which are shall I say click bait.
That’s bollocks.

If you know you know.
Aye you were right. Class, nice one. Maybe if you didn't post so much shite usually, posters wouldn't doubt you.
Maybe I’m just The Messiah of truth.

Does the scan not just show whether it’s necessary for surgery? Which we’ve done and it’s been successful (so far)?

Sad that you trawl through the posts that, with justification, questioned you.

Are you sure that online forums are the right place for your fragility ?
No, I post what I know.

If people are brave enough to question me they should be brave enough to eat humble pie.

Most to their credit have.

It’s light-hearted, my record in these matters speaks for itself.

Personally I don’t care if people believe me or not.

Groin injuries are a minefield to correct.

You could be right, but for now, we're talking about Rigg's "potential" to learn from the new players, just as we are with all of players from last season.

Some have started to show improvements already, I.e. Ballard and Hume, some have been moved on, presumably because they're deemed as unable to improve, and others will excel.

Many of our new signings are at an elite level, and there are no guarantees that existing players can be coached or mentored to match those levels. But...... we have also upgraded our coaches and the head coach's skills will also be evolving, so we're in excellent position to give our selves the best chance of maximising everybody's potential

Does that mean this will be a career-long issue / tendency to get groin problems?
In his case I don’t know.

In my own experience a groin injury can be repaired and go away but years later an innocuous twist and it’s back.

Nobody knows tbh.
The lad gets info from the Medical department I’m not sure if he is actually performing the procedures
Hold my pint!!!!!!

Likely to miss AFCON then?
He might come back to fitness and go straight to that. Not the intensity of the premier League and better weather. It'll be like warm weather training to get some match sharpness, then hopefully he can have a strong second half to the season.

I think this is a fair comment. He’s one of the rising stars of the Senegal team so they are unlikely to leave him behind if there’s a reasonable chance he could play some part.
