Despite the great recruitment before the season

This season was a result not only of the great recruitment last summer, but the great recruitment previously with Hume, Le Fee, 09, Ballard, Isidor, Mayenda and others all playing their part. As well as Jobe who gets an assist for leaving and funding some of it!
 
Yes without our recruitment last summer we don’t stay up but no one mentions Hume, O’Nien, Ballard, Mayenda, Isidor, Le Fee were already here. None of the newly promoted clubs have players that good to build on imo.

You watch the 3 promoted teams regularly do you?
If we hadn’t recruited as we did, especially Xhaka we would have been dead meat by Xmas
Lampard has good contacts in the game, especially at City and Chelsea
A couple of decent loans, one or two freebies and who knows
All the disdain at pundits who predicted our relegation yet so many on here are doing the exact same thing re newly promoted teams. The arrogance, lack of humility etc is galling to say the least

Yeah I do watch them a lot. I don’t think any of them are as good as our 24/25 team.

Hume's goal to send us on our way to the promised land must have absolutely crucified some of the closet mag weapons on here.

They'll not recover from seeing O9 line up against Juve.
