Des Lynam or Gary Lineker

Clough was openly dismissive of pundits like Lynam, Motson et al. Pundits who had never played or managed the game professionally were ill equipped and unsuitable to comment on games and also should not have opinions as they were worthless… in his view
I agree
Lynam wasnt fit to lace GL’s boots
Would have changed his mind if he’d sat through one tedious MOTD with Lineker and Al. As funny as watching paint dry

I liked them both.
Both top of the class at doing the Presenter’s job.

People on here would twist on 21 if someone on telly offers a moral backbone, instead of just reading from an Autocue.

Loved clough, but its arrogant to say you have to play the game to be a pundit. Millions of people watch footy and know as much as the pros if not more

Lineker easily. Although seems to be forcing it a bit nowadays when I see clips of him, micah and the black and white bastard on their zoom podcast.
