I think McInnes could be a reasonable choice - not got much to follow and it would be entertaining to see what a dog's dinner our lot would make of spelling his name;)

Nationality means very little. It's the character of the person and background.

That's why I think Schwarz might make a good manager.
McInnes has been a manager for 10 seasons, 9 of which it appears were successful. Schwarz has never managed. Most top footballer don't make good managers it tends to be the really average footballers who go on to make decent managers. I'd love Schwarz to come and be a success but it is a bigger risk - I know every manager at our place is a risk - look at MON, Moyes failing despite good careers. I think McInnes would be a decent choice and I think Schwarz would be an interesting choice - the key is that the fans get behind whoever is appointed. I get that you don't trust Bain but you need to make sure that doesn't mean you turn against a manager just because he's Bain's choice.

I'd be happy to have him here. Hopefully he leaves the Scottish market alone when it comes to transfers though

I've never turned on any manager tbh, gave Moyes more time than he deserved.

I'm not against mcinnes getting the job , in fact I'm interested in him having a go.

We've tried all other avenues and having done sod all, so why not.

Wouldn't mind Stefan either so either or will do for me as long as it's not the usual suspects.

Alreet pub league fans :D

This post the last bit

Mate of mine who is a huge Sunderland fan was telling me that in the last 10 years, Sunderland's net transfer outlay totalled £150million - and still they are shite and a club always struggling to avoid relegation.

It irks the mackems somewhat that their biggest rival (at "skunk park" as they call it) just up the road have spent a net outlay of £50 million.

Sunderland need root and branch surgery from top to bottom.

Is McIness really wanting to go to a joke club where it will take years to just weed out the dross signings of previous managers with no guarantee of success?

McInnes may well move on, but I doubt very much he'd want to go to a shit club like Sunderland.
Good dont want him end of.

It would be typical SAFC all ower if we appointed a fella who got a club relegated to league one, all because he done well in the tin pot scottish league thereafter.

Well ha'way, when you look at what both clubs are working with

Alright bit unfair to compare Aberdeen to Celtic so lets compare Aberdeen in Europe.

14-15 season - Knocked out to Real Sociedad, nothing wrong with that.
15-16 - Knocked out by world-renowned Kairat FC, who finished 2nd in the Kazakhstan Premier League, they're not even in the best in the Kazakh league.
16-17 - Knocked out by NK Maribor of Slovenia, who then next round was knocked out by another world-renowned team Gabala FK of the Azerbaijan league.

McInnes is truly working wonders there mind :D He's an absolute spoofer who's profited of Rangers' relegation

He currently lives 4 doors along the street from me.

Has a bit of a reputation of being a Scottish Pardew with the players wives :lol:

No he hasn't . You have made that up.

What number do you live at and we can work out either side which door he can knock on............you can then repeat it Maybe that's why you stated that you "currently" live near. Alternatively drop Stewart Milne (Aberdeen chairman) a line and see what response you get.

For the record he is absolutely professional, ambitious and driven to succeed ........in England. That is why he rejected the opportunity to go to Rangers after the Warburton debacle.

Sunderland fans calling Aberdeen a pub league team... They havent won a major trophy in over 40 years. Fuck me, we have won 15 major trophies, including two European trophies in that time !! Sunderland fans and the like, are classic examples of teams who play in multi million pound leagues and because of that, think they are somehow more successful or a bigger club. Wankers!

The pub league that is dominated by Celtic. The same pub league team that goes through Champions League Qualifying and who have seen off AC Milan, Man Utd, Liverpool and Barcelona at various group stages whilst us Sunderland "fans" languish in our self pity and excel at playing the role of victim to perfection.

But we are the best fans in the world..............like fuck.
