Derbyshire Falcons v Durham T20

That's it then.

Anyone know if Durham get any access to tickets with being a T20 season card holder? Or is it a case of keeping an eye on the Surrey website? Think I'm down in that there London first week in Sept anyway.
I’ve never heard of a domestic cricket match with a specific away allocation so keep an eye on Surrey I reckon. If we win the finalists do get a block allocation. Most of the tickets are sold, and I have one of them already as I love the occasion and go every year, but there’s always a proportion held back for the four teams.

I’m not sure I get why (even digging the FTECB badge out) us losing half our team and them losing nearly all hinders us more. Makes it a lottery and a farce, sure, but it’s in our favour.
Because their side are going to be playing a similar format.

Ours will not. Even those that are in the Hundred aside from Sowter will be carrying drinks I suspect.

Quite a debrief going on Derby stream (Fletch appears to have foxtrot Oscar) not happy at all with Patel and Mickey Arthur. Appears Derby have done their budget in on players for t20 tournament and blown it

He kept repeating “Derbyshire have blown it” and “Derbyshire have fluffed their chance again” but they went into tonight - like us - needing snookers. It wasn’t as if it was a massive open net.

Unless he just means generally over the course of the competition.

Very poor form for them though if they have indeed spunked most of their resources on T20 players.

Despite Micky Arthur’s excellent reputation around the game in general, he’s been a massive flop for Derbyshire and this must be the final nail in the coffin of his tenure.
Well done lads, after first 2 games amazing to qualify. Tough to go further but you never know

Qualified with a minus net run rate too I think

Yeah sorry I misunderstood and assumed you meant the game was being played while they were all unavailable rather than just after that crap finishes.

Well done lads! Caught the final 10 overs of the chase and it’s fair to say that we bossed it. Ackermann and Lees superb partnership

Yeah apparently done their money in on Sammy Whitley Brown Amir and a couple of others who are t20 only.

Brilliant that Durham have somehow made it through to the knock outs. In truth there has been nothing great about us but you could also say the same about Leicester, Yorkshire and Derbyshire who we pipped for 4th place.
Nothing to lose now going into the playoffs as no-one will give us a chance of winning.
Haway Durham!

Assume it's away to winners of the southern group in the QF?

I remember when Arthur was appointed (2022?) and thinking wow what a coup. In reality he’s achieved nowt with them. They’re still bottom of the Championship too.
