Depressed

Got to admit that even though my heart says we will still stay up, I do feel down today and nowt to do with the weather

If you look at just the last 30 years this would be the 7th relegation in that time, 3 of them immediately following promotion, with only 15 out of the 30 seasons spent in the top tier and only 5 top tier finishes more than 3 pts off relegation. Add in 3 play-off defeats (including Swindon) and the lack of trophies and it's nee wonder people get down.

I don't think I've felt this depressed after a SAFC match for ages- the weather this morning as farcical as our attempts to score goal last night.

We've certainly paid for Wembley that's for sure!

I can honestly say that this season hasn't really affected me that badly, don't know if its because I have a young son and priorities change, or because Im really busy with work or just because after 28 odd years of support they have finally ground me down but I think I have reached the point of "meh"

In general i'm the same. I used to be in a strop for a few days after a bad defeat- now just a few hours.

But last night was a bit different- bloody horrible then a long drive home in the Fog.

Even after fifty years they've managed to give me one of my lowest points, but it isn't going down yet again, it was sacking Paolo Di Canio.
Once the deed was done Poyet was the man I wanted to come in, but that Sunday night in September I knew a chance that wouldn't come again had been thrown away.
As far as last night goes it came as no surprise so I don't feel particularly depressed. We've been through it so many times and every make or break has left us broken.
