A mate's little kids are on holiday and they spotted a football clinic which is run by Dennis Longhorn!
He was before my time and I know next to nothing about him - can any of our more ....... seasoned posters shed any light?

Aye we bought him from them. Went on to play for Sheffield United, Aldershot, Colchester United and Chelmsford City.

I did not think Longhorn was a bad player , a fairly decent ( Old Second Division ) squad player .....40 odd games for Sunderland 73 - 76 which were very happy and good times to watch Sunderland . Might be wrong but didnt he put in some important performances during the promotion season ?
