Dennis Cirkin

I could be completely wrong but I got the impression that Cirkin wasn't recovering from a physical injury when he was out for months at the start of the season. The club never stated what it was and he obviously made that remark about 'stinking the place out' after the playoff final which I read was more general than the actual mistakes in the match. There was also rumours of him retiring from the game. I hope he can get his head in the right place but the video (not seen it) isn't a good look given previous issues.
His interview at wembley was worrying, just didnt seem right at all.
Innit Bruv.
Its not looking good brev, its not looking good.

Who gives a fuck if he smokes?

People need to get a grip like
This is Premier League football in 2026. Players are effectively finely tuned machines. Just being 5% off peak condition can make a massive difference.

Nobody is saying Dennis is the next Sean Thornton or Charlie Miller but it’s not a good look for a young footballer who’s struggled with injuries over the last couple of years and is potentially looking for a new club in the summer.

Gone in the summer. First choice left back injured....and so is the back up. That's just not good enough. The video just looks like he's off his tits but no games or training so not so bad. Strange choice to post it though. Lad maybe needs some kind words?

In the past year iirc he’s lost his dad and had a drink driving incident.

Didnt look well on his wembley interview I think he genuinely needs a bit help.

A recent safc video showed it can be a lonely existence for these lads irrelevant of wage.

the lad has been suffering from mental health problems since the death of his father at a young age, some people on here need to remember that before slating him. not one of us know what goes on in the minds of people especially young lads and lasses and what grief they are suffering.

as well as a footballer he is also a human being

.Are footballers allowed to play while on psychotropic meds ? I dont know, if not its a big problem treatment wise
He was literally on a stag do with a load of his mates
Like a bird on the wire , like a drunk in a midnight choir ...

That Talbi video was depressing and I’m a house hermit ffs

Sounds like there are mitigating circumstances but I still think his Sunderland career is coming to an end.

We obviously haven't seen the best of him for a long while now and although Id like to think we have looked after him best we can, we still need to look after ourselves and no room for sentiment in the Premier League if we are to avoid 2nd season syndrome.
