"Alexa! What is the worst hot take of the season?"
He's played 6 games, been sent off and banned for three, gave a penalty away and was very fortunate not to have gave a second away, if it had been called correctly.

He's an excellent player but if Cirkin had done that people would be calling him worse than shite.
From what you’ve seen?!? Have you seen him play??
Yes I've seen him sent off and gave a penalty away in 6 games and been fortunate not to give more penalties or be reprimanded with stuff he's got away with. He's an excellent footballer but he's got plenty moments of silliness in him. He's also on two yellows already which indicates he'll probably lose a couple of games through building up yellows.

And the positives.. the stuff he brings to the team? Did you see any of that?

There is no "fortunate not to give away a penalty" because it's either a pen or it's not. VAR checks everything. You cannot legitimately criticise someone for something that didn't happen
Also, comparisons to how you guess people would have reacted to a different player giving away a pen, or getting sent off are hypothetical and nonsensical

Yes and I said he's an excellent football about five times but I'm highlighting because of his erratic nature at times then others are going to get a chance to play.

Var gets things wrong all the time though. We see happen on a weekly basis. I don't think that really holds up when it's clear that it's a flawed system in itself.

We’re in a healthy position FFP but to make it even better for future transfers we should be moving him and Neil on in Jan.

We do need better competition than Masuaku for Reinildo but this lad is unfortunately too injury prone for that
Apart from the fact that Cirkin and Neil have contracts that mean it is financially beneficial to them to remain at SAFC until the summer, when they can move as free agents and receive significant signing-on bonuses, the club also needs to manage the number of 'home-grown' players in the squad. At least Cirkin and Neil fulfill this role, for this this season, .

Furry muff.. it’s all about opinions
I'm not stating that Cirkin should go in ahead of him. What I'm saying is the lad is easily the best left back we have and will start ahead of everyone but he's likely gonna have a few bans and all players pick up injuries so the second place left back will get games.

Then it's just who you think that is. I've not seen much of Musuaka but from what I've seen, and some of this was at West Ham years ago, that Cirkin is probably better.

Alese could be better than the other two as a second choice option but is ridiculously injury prone and a better CB imo. Don't think we'll see him play for us again tbh.

And as Mozambique qualified for AFCON he's probably going to be away from a few weeks at least there so someone is getting game time.

Youd imagine Mozambique will be out of Afcon pretty sharpish.
Somethings amiss with Cirkin. Mentioned it in pre-season that he wasnt in club media despite being in the building doing rehab - other injured lads featured prominently. Now Regis has said Cirkin is training with the kids. May be over analysing but id be surprised if we see him again in a match day squad again. Think he will be off in Jan.

Clearly not going to sign a new deal so hopefully we can sell him in January.

Decent player Cirkin, but he must have missed at least 30/40% of our games over the last 3 season.

Far too injury prone to be relied upon. He’ll be the same at whichever club he’s at.

Id keep Cirkin as competition/back up. Same as Alese. We need a squad. Especially if we’re going to finish in the top 4 ;)

They’re hardly ever fit though? They are of no benefit to the first team for the majority of the season.

We need to move on from these lads.
