Be good to see him up to speed after the next international break. Gives him a month or so around the squad before AFCON and his chance to play regular premier league football.

Hope the lad is over his issues and ready to kick on.

I still however, and it may be a little harsh, obviously not knowing all the detail, but could he have had his surgery before his summer break? Feel he's missed a real opportunity given Reinildo's suspension. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and all that, but it did surprise/annoy me a little to see his socials of an incredible trip away, which I don't begrudge at all, only to then come back for surgery as we started such an important season in his career? They must have known the surgery was required given the prolonged issues he's had with that wrist. Bit of a ramble, but I really like the lad, just a shame he's missed the recent opportunity I guess.

Strange isnt it? Almost like the surgery was an after thought, or a reason given as to why he wasnt playing...

Get him completely fully fit and at his best he's still a decent option for us I think. Quite good we don't have to rush him back as we are pretty stacked in defence currently
