Sunderland announce the signing of Jermain Defoe on a 3.5 year from Toronto. They're waiting on international clearance to play tomorrow.
 
Already contributed more than Altidore ever did as Defoe's controlled a ball and kept it in the picture whereas Altidore would just have his leg hanging in the air with the ball up on the AOL roof! ;)
