I’d expect you to score the penalties. Goals in that season is a good return. He fell of a cliff. What he actually accomplished in 2017 - then 2022 was horrendous from an attitude & performance.
I agree he gave up from February onwards. But it wasn't the case that he was brilliant, stopped trying then brilliant again. He never got close to that form again - he was 34, was bombed out pretty quickly at Bournemouth then had a couple of years as a squad player in Scotland. Do you not think his legs went during that season and part of his 'horrendous attitude' was actually frustration at not being about to do what his mind wanted to do anymore?

Again, not saying he didn't give up - they all did.

It’s a disgrace. He only had to see out 7 games basically sitting on his arse unless he was needed. He was looking sharper every time he came on.

Now we are a striker down. It absolutely stinks
It does, needs explaining. It could just be he's decided he can't do it anymore, it could just be he thinks a younger striker deserves a chance eg Benji, it could just be something money wise and to cut costs if he's being paid on game time bonus, it could just be he's decided we're a lost cause. Needs explaining none the less.

The club certainly carry some of the blame. But given what we assume he will be being paid, another striker wasn’t likely as well

I think it’s disappointing that someone can walk away so easily, when we’ve not got much in reserve (we don’t know the reasons of course, but in isolation it leaves a bad taste)
He put 10000 on the gate for his first game
Backward thinking
We are so small time now it’s embarrassing
