Strange one retiring now. Obviously not the Defoe of old, but he was clearly getting sharper and causing a fair few problems for league 1 defenders.

Absolutely got to be asked. If he is not injured what he has done is absolutely inexcusable as he knows full well we are at a crucial stage of the season and now only have ONE fit experienced striker which is a fcuking disgrace for a supposedly big club that harbours ambitions of getting out of the league one backwater.

Is he getting paid for his appearance tonight?

I’m going yes but I’m a bit worried about what pie will be on offer. I won’t have time to eat before I go and I’m vegetarian. Does anyone know if there’s any alternatives?
