Of course they are especially @pwsafc, that's what gets me on here, one of our players in this case Defoe does exceptionally well and all of sudden he is good enough to get his place in one of the biggest clubs in the world.

There is no doubt Defoe fits us like a glove and has been nothing short of outstanding for us, however need for a bit common sense on here.

There's a lot of speaking from the heart on here and you can't blame people for sentimental love, but f***ing defoe over zlatan :lol:
 
Ibrahimovic has won the league in 14 of the last 15 seasons. He has won 15 other trophies.
He's played for Malmo,Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, Milan, PSG, Man United.
Scored 412 goals in 711 games.
Internationally he has 62 goals in 116 games.

Defoe has played for Bournemouth, West Ham, Spurs, Portsmouth, Toronto, Sunderland.
Scored 268 goals in 636 games.
Internationally has scored 19 in 55 games.
Defoe has won no trophies.


However I don't think Defoe would be as good at Man United as he is for Sunderland, and I don't think Ibrahimovic would replicate his form through his career at Sunderland.
Sometimes a player just fits.
