Dean Lewington

Absolutely bonkers that despite only becoming a club 16 years ago, MK Dons’ record appearance maker, Dean Lewington, has played 773 times and is still first choice playing almost every game.

Sunderland’s record appearance maker, Jim Montgomery has 627.

It’s canny going for a club with such little history. Wonder if we’ll ever get a player reaching anywhere near Montgomery’s number? Most appearances in the current squad is Leadbitter on 171, then Gooch on 134.

Good crack that

Fair play to him

Rare these days

Coppinger how many games for Doncaster?
Aye. Stayed with them during the name change clart on and has never left.

Aye he’s from the area, local lad, to the original Wimbledon anyway

Strange situation as he will mostly likely have family and friends who support the new Wimbledon And absolutely hate MK Dons

Thought he’d be older than 36.

Could still have a couple of years left in him for them, fair play.

648 for Coppinger. Another cracking number.

It's a fabulous career for a lower league professional. There's a lot of money in moving clubs but this lad will look back on a very special achievement to reach such a number of games for a professional club.

I hope he gets a testimonial for his loyalty.

Why wouldn’t he?

Even though we won down there last year we still managed to make him look like Franco Baresi at times
