That would be embarrassing for speakman appointing someone they had previously briefed the media that it definitely wasn’t them
 
Even though it would'nt be a statement appointment or as glamorous as a manager from abroad I can kind of see the logic in it. To have around a 50% win ratio in all of his jobs is good going to be fair.

The big question is can he do it at higher level?. I think his record deserves a chance higher up the leagues. Can't see any comparisons to Beale tbh as he has been in management 15 years unlike beale who had been a manager 1 year before he got the job here.

Tin hat on but I'd much prefer him to some kid from abroad who has only managed an under 18s team.

He certainly wouldn’t get people excited but I don’t understand why people turn their noses up at him but Maric and the like are seemingly people that would be welcomed with open arms.

If he was coming from abroad I suspect opinions would be different.

I don’t think it will be him regardless like.
