I hope they don't underestimate the importance of this appointment. There can be no half measures and settling for mediocrity. Fuck this one up and there's a real possibility we will go down. Imagine they appoint some no mark and then have to pull the trigger before Christmas and we have to go through this recruitment process again. Even in our darkest moments you still felt those in charge had some sort of grip on the situation. I want to believe this lot know what they're doing but they are showing the complete opposite. With each passing day I become more apathetic and dismayed and just think why on earth would any decent coach want to come here?

I suspect if that were the case. They’d give it to Dodds and accept relegation

Sadly this appears to be the case.
 
Doesn't just show the fans a lack of ambition, but also our own players and possible targets. I expect one or two to be on the phone to their agents to see if there's any interest.

Dodds will be back in charge at some point this coming season, it's just inevitable that he'll get another go whilst his mate calls the shots upstairs.
