DARYL MURPHY TO THE SCUM!

As explained we don't have many that I'm worried about making the step up barring one or two, and the BIG difference is Sunderland are left with these players because quite frankly you cant attract better players, whether you admit it or not or how cringey you might think it sounds Newcastle is a much bigger prospect for players to sign for and Benitez is a big pull for a lot of players also.

 enjoy Daryl Murphy and the championship

1 million would have been more than enough for him.

Ipswich have had you over big time here.
Can't disagree the price is steep, and he is an underwhelming signing, but regardless he has been bought for a purpose and that purpose is squad depth.

It shows the way the market is these days, we would have had to pay 15 million to get Forestieri from Sheff Wed which I believe was the original target.

3 wins on the bounce and seemingly on the right path, I am enjoying it thanks.

Enjoy your inevitable relegation battle :)

At least we have a bit of a battle in us rather than blindly sleep walking to relegation under your hero Beneathus.

We relegated you :)

Daryl Murphy, 33 year old Sunderland reject, 19 Irish caps, no goals. How the 'mighty' have fallen :)

Let all of that sink in...

Oh well that's ok then.
