Just seen the video - the parachute ripped off after it took off cos the nugget seemed to have it attached directly below the exhaust

He fell out as well , minus the aforementioned parachute.

i remember thinking when i first saw it that it would only end one way. That's natural selection at work right there. No sympathy for him but I feel for any friends and family he leaves behind.

No sympathy for him? That’s a bit harsh, regardless whether you think what he believed is rubbish or not he’s not exactly public enemy number one and has died doing something he was passionate about. Very sad even though it was very stupid.
