Dan Neil

Jobe demands the ball continually when intent on passing it straight back to the player he gets it from. I think he counts his passes.

Earlier in the season he would flick it on the half turn or hold it, turn and we'd play a few quick balls forward with some pace and intensity. The flicking it on has stopped to a degree - maybe as the whole team have been caught doing it too often. But the amount of times he's recieved the ball now and will pass it straight back where it's come from or look up and then play a short ball either side and pass the buck is massively frustrating.

I do think the side as a whole has become risk averse and are playing with little freedom, pace or intensity. It's difficult to pin it in one player or one thing as it's rife through the team and I think there's been a gradual regression as the seasons gone on - maybe that should have been expected to a degree. However after the Leeds away game although mathematically we could still catch the top 3, mentally we were gone. Now the question is - can we recover that for the play offs after such a long time and drop off?

What. The one where Jobe had time to play le fee into almost half a pitch but didn’t and then fired into Dan Neil’s feet ?? Instead of in front or just seeing the easy through ball ??

Dan was poor today but so was everyone else.
No this, in the opening minutes...

Great work from Rigg and Jobe, then Neil makes a complete arse of it, before being bailed out by Rigg and Jobe.

Set the tone for him on Saturday. Caught napping again.

He'll be brilliant under proper coaches
Definitely, he’s a good player.
Here we go usual suspects labeling another player as absolutely shite

It’s amazing how we are 4th with a shit manager and a team full of shit players isn’t it

Almost like people on this board have no idea what they’re talking about or someit.
Good players, terrible coaches.

Superb tonight. Breaking up attacks played his part in the first goal.
His part in the goal was really clever actually. In a game where we could barely string two passes together, his composure there to find le fee was excellent. Everyone else on the pitch would have looked for Isidor and pointed it downfield to the keeper.

Quality all around from Neil, then perfect ball from Le Fee. I don't think the commentators gave Wilson any credit for the way he seemed to slow down then pulled the trigger with a bit venom. Cool as out. This not stringing two passes together is a weird and unwelcome feature of games we have to defend in. We did start to improve eventually as the game went on.
