Dan Neil

Jobe had a rest so Neil should get one. Not sure when though. Jobe and Rigg this weekend? But Rigg needs a rest too.....
Rest both of them and play Jones

.................Patterson...............
Hume...Mepham..O9..Hyelde
.....Browne..Jones...Jobe.....
Roberts.......Isidor.....Watson

Subs: Moore Bainbidge Lavery
Samed Neil Aleksic
Rigg Le Fee Mayenda

I don’t think anyone is trying to defend Neil’s performance last night, but I don’t think anyone looked like they wanted to be out there and were going through the motions as to keep themselves right for the play offs.

How many times does he have to be caught in possession in a dangerous area to realise that its not the best option to try and turn/beat a player.
People thinking he’s good enough to play in the prem need to take the above into account

He’d be massively exposed.

Did Jones do much when he came on? All I can remember him doing was rushing back and getting a clear yellow card.

A lot which you can’t do in the prem. I thought he’d cut it out but it happened twice yesterday.
I don't think I've ever seen a centre mid who wants to dribble so much.
Not watched much football then lol

He needed a rest, can see his body the way he runs, he doesnt look fresh. Definately need a rest ASAP. Tactically, he's brilliant.

When given time and room he looks good. Unfortunately he won’t get either in the Premier League. He lacks a change of pace and physicality….and I would disagree with anyone who says he has had a good season. Far too many awful performances like last night. I genuinely hope I’m wrong as there is no doubt he is a genuine MLF…but the Championship may well be his level.

Like a latter day Glenn Hoddle according to some of the wallopers on here, in reality he’s just a average champo midfielder.
