Every time he plays against a higher league opponent he has been bossed, long gone are the days of defence splitting passes.

Roberts was laughable and Rigg was worse than Neil.

Well I think all 3 of them probably aren't good enough to get us promoted. I've said even when we were getting results the midfield is a bit lightweight, naive, and not impactful enough. Jobe has been average all season, besides a handful of class performances. I think Rigg will turn into a very good player but he's hamstringing us as he is now.

I have never been a fan of Neil, I think he's largely a non-entity. He plays in the most key position on the pitch in our setup, he needs to be controlling the pace, intercepting balls then driving up the pitch, snuffing out attacks, pinging balls up the pitch to the 10 and into the box. He's definitely not a captain, he's too meek, too young, rarely see him calming players, getting them pumped up, or organising them. It's a shame his replacement didn't work out in Samed.

Been our best player since the turn of the year imo. Comfortably one of the best midfielders in the league which makes him class for the level we're at. It's all relative.

Shite today but who wasn't. Manager needs to take the blame for this malaise we're in. It'll only get worse as well as we plod along for the next 6 weeks.
 
I often wonder how the Neil 'lovers' would perceive him if he wasn't a local lad. I dare say he is over rated and yet there is still talk of him going for decent money to the Prem. Imo he doesn't get into any prem team......average

Would probably agree but I still think he’s had quite a few poor games and some shockers since then

Well yea, but there's levels of shitness, which is why I've focused on Dan. Touch harsh but I don't expect anything from Roberts, I do from our captain.
