Dan Cameron


Just of the back of the Matty Young thread, what's the progress of Dan Cameron.

The lad must have over 100 senior appreances within the non league levels.

Is he a bit of a forgotten man? Do the club rate him?

I know he started on Monday because I had a look at their line up. I think his biggest problem is how good Young looks and how highly they seem to Cowan. Looks like he could be on track for a pro career though.

Be great to have another pro keeper from the production line.

Cowan looks very good
 
Allen's been poor most times I've seen him particularly with his feet. Cameron never less than excellent and Richardson deserved better fortune the poor lad. Cowan will start the next season as U21 keeper before going out on loan after the new year. Means they will need to bring someone in, should just keep Cameron.

Allen has been good on loan
 
It's a bit of an odd one for me. He hasn't really spent much time playing for the u18s / u21s and spent most of the time out on loan. He must have close to 200 appreances at non league level

Sometimes the club need to do best for the player and Dan probably needs to find a club that will play him regularly

Sad yes, but ultimately football moves on and lads need kick on with their careers
