former Oz test batsman has contracted meningitis and has been placed in an induced coma. hopefully he can pull through but very concerning.

Underrated cricketer. Easy to forget him really when he was surrounded by the likes of Ponting, Warne, Gilchrist etc but I've always been drawn to an elegant batsman and he certainly fell into that category.
He was released from hospital today apparently... which seems incredible.
