this coranavirus scaremongering needs to end, this lockdown needs to end and schools should be open asap....this furlough madness needs to end. the love to see the state of the economy if this goes on a few more months good loo for people wanmting to buy houses borrow etc etc in the future.

Cancer accounts for about a quarter of deaths in the uk so the fact a new illness is contributing so many deaths shouldn't be ignored.

No lockdown means exponential growth in both infections and deaths, that means we would be talking about 10,000 deaths per day and growing without the lockdown.

There have been over 50,000 excess deaths so far this year. That is 50,000 more people dead than would have been expected.
 
Boris started with a form of herd immunity taking great pleasure of shaking hands etc subsequently got his hands burned then decided it was a lockdown having watched them for a few weeks dropping like flies in Italy and Spain etc Now decides to end lockdown with a return to work or work from home if possible while keeping to the social distancing rule ...let's just hope something goes right for him eventually as he will be soon running out of cards to play and his backers will revolt and that's a certainty.
