What's the frequency?

REM are safe

Residents in Tanzania and Mozambique are bracing for the touchdown of Cyclone Kenneth - which is barrelling towards land with winds of 205km/h (125mph) and torrential rain.

Communities in the southern Tanzanian region of Mtwara and in northern Mozambique are being warned to seek higher ground and shelter.

UN officials say they fear it could mean a "humanitarian catastrophe".

Yeah that's not laughing matter

Cyclone Kenneth is due to hit east coast of Africa within next few hours... Mozambique, Tanzania region... looks like total devastation on its way!!

Dangerous Cyclone Kenneth to make unprecedented strike in northern Mozambique

As some are already asking, will The World pay attention this time?
Poor sods in Mozambique have already been clobbered by cyclone Idai a few weeks ago, which left hundreds of people dead. :(
God only knows how these people will cope with yet another potentially deadly cyclone.

from all accounts they recon this one could be a lot worse! - some reports suggesting '1 meter of rain expected with damaging winds and, a 5 meter storm surge'... 5 meters!! wtf?! And this will be into a landscape of minimum protection at coastline

Yep. Idai was one of the worst to hit Africa also. Fortunately, in some ways, this one isn't hitting the same parts of Mozambique which were previously affected. As you say, there'll be minimal protection on the coast.

Yeah.
It's looking like this thing could very likely cause untold damage and devastation to many people.
Loss of homes and lives could be huge.
You've really got to feel for these poor people :(
