Nah those are the type you get when the shop has no clue what youre on about. I asked for one on Tyneside and I got that type.
Never heard of that one and don't know what I would done with it if I asked for a curry batter bun and got served that .

I think people underestimate how nice they were. The crunch of the batter when you bit through the soft bun,and the explosion of curry flavour filling your mouth. Yum

The one in Brady square used to do the batter inside with curry. Curry crunch or something
The one at The Barnes doesn’t do them usually but I asked if they could and they made one for me.

I've gone off chippy food but would really like to try this. I had the low budget version of it years ago where you just get some batter in a bun and a bit curry.
