It’s these things that I think billionaire and multi multi millionaire owners should be taking care of and as swiftly as possible. I understand the sustainability argument and the desire not to blow club income on inflated salaries and fees but if the ownership group haven’t got the desire or funds to make significant infrastructure improvements and make the club better through their own capital, what exactly do they want the club for?
to get weal;thier like every other owner..KLD views football as a business.
The pace at which work can be done relies on the competence of the executive team, the budget, and maybe planning or other regualtory interactions...Im not sure the latter are relevant in this case, others will know better.

Sustainability is not a choice the owners are making, its a rule imposed by the league.
Though I notice chelseas new DOF is talking about sustainability there as well.

If you've not been I suggest you try. It's not far from the mark at all sadly.

Team is and always will be priority but we can do multiple things at once. Davison looks to be getting a wage for nowt at present, off field we re still a mess.
yes indeed..davisons work shouldnt involve anything to do with the on field matters..so his priotiy should be this stuff

Concourses are going to be an absolute nightmare on boxing day.

I'm glad the sheepfolds area has planned improvements for it, if it was your first time at the SOL and you walk over from the city centre through that, it's not very pleasant.
Once you get beyond the metro station it’s an absolute tip.

The Ji picture for example is a disgrace, half of it has been ripped down. With other bits starting to fall down.

Old former player flags look old and tatty too.

The signing still shows adidas in some places.

Little things that annoy me each match day. Surely it won’t cost that much to fix either?

First impressions and all that….

indeed..all of the things you highlight are important and dont seem like they would cost anything much more than petty cashnto fix..so who is the incompetent one not fixing them?

Davison promised a walk around with supporters in the first RAWA collective meeting. He still hasn’t done it.

Sure people are employed at the SoL to be rectifying these matters?

It took several emails for them to clean the cobwebs off the signage behind where I sit.

is there someone with a job title like "stradium director or manager or something-as the stadium is an enormous asset of the club..someone with day to day responsibility for it should be hired.

I was referring to the sustainability argument that is put forward by posters on here whenever anything is mentioned regarding investment of cash into any area of the club.

Infrastructure investment isnt going to be detrimental to the economic model and sustainability rules. If KLD and Sartori wanted to revamp the stadium, they could (if of course they have the capital to do so)

He also said they hadn't found the time for anyone to have a walk round and look at the ground. Properly shit excuse as usual from him.

of couyrse they could..and my point would be that stadium improvement work is FAR more sustainable than signing more footballers...and so should get a bit of priority.
But sustainability is NOT a choice of the owners..its a rule of the league.

erm im ery ignorant of the local geography etc but poresumably davisons office is inside the stadium complex..and presumably a walk around would take not more than 10 minutes?
