We haven't been in the 3rd round for 4 years.
I mentioned this to a work colleague the other day. Said I had no idea when we last met in FA Cup (will go and check now). Given the odds of a 3rd / 4th round pairing is high was also wondering when both teams were last in the 5th round draw?

Arsenal v Bolton surely? WTF is going on with the strips?
Away kits were often worn by both teams in English FA Cup matches. Until 1989–90, its competition rules stated: "Where the colours of the two competing clubs are similar, both clubs must change unless alternative arrangements are mutually agreed by the competing clubs".

In January 1951, Newcastle lent a set of "home" shirts to Sunderland, who were due to play Southampton in the FA Cup, which required both clubs to change in the event of a clash (both teams had white alternative tops so Southampton borrowed a set of amber shirts from the Hampshire Regiment FC).

Unbelievable Jeff!
