Handscomb for khwaja only change. England unchanged

It looks a swinging morning imo. As with sharma yesterday, warner is well overdue a failure.

Don’t know why I am all tense and excited about this - 2 recent trips to Wembley tells me exactly what will happen :(

I know - that’s the spirit - it is the hope that kills you!

First 10 overs are key here, if their openers get starts we are in trouble, flip that, if we get them both early then the aussies are in trouble. Haway England!

Well, a few games ago I didn’t think we would even make the semi-final. Let’s hope we just play our best and give ourselves a chance.

There are arb possibilities here. Take the Aussies at 11/10, few overs in England should go to odds against, take that, only loss would be a tie

Overcast and dry. Imo it will swing big this morning. All to do with the correct length being delivered

Woakes could be a crucial bowler today on his home ground

Advance Australia fair. Warner singing that. Aye right

Woakes is a little bit of an unsung hero in this team, every bigs up Archer, Wood for their pace and Plunkett for his wicket taking ability in the middle, but Woakes imo has been very handy with the ball indeed

Boos ringing out loud. Let’s hope it’s cheers in five mins as he walks back

Stat fact

England won 30 of the last 36 chasing

1st ball sets the tone...

Edit - good response Woakes
