I thin Pakistan, if they win this, have been quite unlucky

the run rate thing means one bad game like the Windies and you have no chance

and NZ's point against India for wash out, you'd fancy Pakistan to have won their wash out v Sri Lanka

really think they could have won the whole thing on their day

Be amazed if NZ beat Oz

I’m not writing the Saffers off just yet. Imagine the chaos with tickets if India win their last game & don’t play at Edgbaston. The ticket sites will be flooded.

At the same time they've only got themselves to blame for that shocker against the West Indies

True, but early on,

I think they are a good team personally, think NZ have been fortunte, Williamson and Boult got them over the line

Pakistan v Australia would be some semi

The rules are changing for the next World Cup. It will be 3 points for a win with the opportunity for teams to earn bonus points.

One of the bairns mates who plays with him for cls cc 2nds is from India and his family is going too see India tomorrow. It’ll be bedlam as it always is when India play

Yeah think there are fairer ways to do it

one bad game here just totally wipes out your run rate, didn't seem fair to me

I quite liked the format in the end

People say team's strolled it

But on another day Oz could havve lost against Windies and another for example, and England and NZ were tight

If there hadn't been that bad week of weather it would have been brilliant

I think overall the round robin version has been very well received, although the icc has thought about how to accommodate 4 emerging nations without making the tournament too long. They were thinking about some sort of pre qualification tournament as a pre cursor to the tournament in th host nation but I’m nor sure how far off the drawing board that got

The icc has seen the fifa version and are keen to involve more teams

Its difficult, they need to play more games, but Afghan lost all 9 games, and they are by far the best side out of the others IMO

I do however think the T20 world cup needs to be massively expanded, that is a cracking format for the emerging nations, fancy Afghan to win some games in that

He is another obvious candidate. More of an out and out match winner but in a far better side.
I never realised Shakib was such a good batsmen.
