When the pressure was on we came through both games, who would have thought the way some people were going here.

Like any sport nothing is certain and all good sides have hiccups.

However over the last 3 years we have proved over a sustained period we have the best one day side in the world.

In knockout cricket anything can happen, but let’s be clear the other sides will be more frightened of us, then us of them.
 

The irony of this tournament is the FTECB virtually giving up on the 50 overs this time next year, when we are potentially world champs

Give the fans the chance to actually see England players and it’s full houses every time

Always a bigger crowd when they allow stokes and wood play for Durham but the odds are, that will be their only game this summer at CLS

4 Seamers have to play for me,

Rashid will play if at best, it’s difficult call

Lot right handers for India suggest that will device it for the leggie

I agree if at best, but he's transparently not, that's the problem. He's been the worst bowler in most games so far.

I'd agree with that. Well, our poor fielding made the difference vs Pakistan. Aussie performance against us was amongst the best of the World Cup so far. The Sri Lanka defeat was shown up for what it was when they got thumped next time out by the already eliminated South Africans. On the other hand, had we not lost to SL and the Aussies, we might not have had the intensity we've shown in the last two matches and might not be going into the semis with some of the momentum we now have.

Kiwis, assuming Pakistan don't get their required miracle, are going into the semi on the back of three defeats, shame we can't face them again.

I think you could make an argument for Morgan batting fluently with 42 from 40 and out in the last 5 to a superb catch. What this match has done, to some extent, is quell the argument regarding Buttler or Stokes getting promoted up the order if the openers get us off to an excellent start.

Well done England must admit thought they had blown it but those 2 wins gets all the confidence back.
It's been great for Durham as well the weather has been crap but came good when really needed and gives the club a lift.
Worried about those Aussies though there bowling attack looks much better with Lyon and the big German.
