Wins seems an odd one. Punishes teams for bad weather, assuming matches are NR not tied.
Realistically, an England win or tie tomorrow will mean both sides are through. Pakistan won't make up the NRR from one match.

It seems even harsher to Pakistan who have beaten both England and New Zealand. It would have made it more exciting if it were Head to Head first after points.

Pakistan get rained out against Sri Lanka. NZ get rained out against India. Play either of those games, and get the expected winner, and the NZ-England game is a genuine knockout match tomorrow. NZ saved by the rain, it seems.
That said, Pakistan shat the bed against West Indies to ruin their NRR against a team that was otherwise winless - they can't really blame the weather.

Am I right in saying NZ are through barring us beating them and a miracle for Pakistan?
In that case, will they dare to rest one or two? If I was them I’d rest Boult and Ferguson like.....
