Hope that if we don’t win it, India don’t win it - not even arsed if the Aussies win it. Sick to f***ing death of Indian fans clogging up Facebook and Twitter with constant bullshit and annoying posts.

Reckon that today was all down to them wanting Pakistan to miss the semis and talking about how their spinners intentionally got hit for sixes

I said before the tournament that Australia would win it and today only heightened my opinion that they will. India’s spinners offer absolutely nothing on a flat pitch, and overall there’s not enough quality or variety in their bowling. England should have scored about 370 today. Only England can threaten Australia now IMO.

Its turning into an excellentworld cup mind

just a shame about that week where all the games were rained off, we should have started it later, coming into the best weather

That NZ rained off game against India is probs gonna get them through mind

Starc can win you the tournament, he is the best ODI bowler in the world, give him anything about 250 to defend and you have a chance

Aussies could have easily lost against NZ mind

They are the favs now I'd say

if England can beat NZ, and do it in the normal manner, they have a great chance

England v a quality left arm pace bowler in boult.....wouldn't bank on an England win Wednesday, but wouldn't it be great to win and enjoy the last few group games

This.
Boult and Ferguson in particular are top notch.
Guptil and particularly Latham need an innings, but other than that they have bats that can take on a bowling attack.
Williamson is obviously the one, but Taylor, Munro and Neasham can score pretty well on their day.
But....we have the bats and the bowling to win it, so with correct application I am very hopeful.
.....even though I took NZ at 10/1 at the beginning of the tournament. ;)

Coming in for a bit of flak the indians about that chase yesterday mind

Strange how they couldnt get it off the square for 25 overs then start smashing it to all.parts

I thought it had drifted long before that but with 10 to go they were within range enough to at least make an effort. I thought we bowled well but they took no risks, in a situation where taking risks didn’t matter.

Whatever their motives, we bloody needed that and we move on to NZ - can’t wait - what’s the weather forecast looking like?
I think a key moment occurred when Morgan reset the field for Pandya. His clever field dried up the boundaries on the drive and India started to fall further behind.

Or his not so clever field against Pandya initially gave them a chance?

What a bad loser Kohli is

Moaning about the short boundary

They hit 1 six and that came in the last over!
I guess his point was that the toss combined with the short boundary to allow England to post a big total. But, you're right, their response was dinosaur shaped; thin at either end with a fat bit in the middle.

Lovely here in the cheap seats. Great occasion for county Durham and Chester Le Street.
Sounds good. Is it a total dead rubber or is there still something riding on it?

It couldnt have anything to do with Pakistan battling with England to be in the semi-finals could it?........
