He got it badly wrong after 10 overs. We had the Indians on the rack. His decision to change both Woakes and Archer let them back into the game, mainly due to Wood's poor bowling.

When Woakes came back he got a wicket but then went for 16 in one over. He may have got another wicket at the start but we'll never know? I don't think there was any chance of him going for 16 runs.
 
Would have been a record score to win in the World Cup for India, when chasing

2011 England got 338 to draw with India. Strauss best odi innings and we were winning the match, the camera found old poledancer (rip) dancing in the stands, cue mini collapse and a tie

Weather set fair for Wednesday up here and Friday in London unfortunately.

Our excellent run rate would mean a no result or a draw in either game would 99% guarantee us to go through.

I think we'll beat the Kiwis. Unfortunately I'll be at work. I might be able to watch a little on Sky Go.

Tuesday 9th - 1st v 4th at Edgbaston
Thursday 11th - 2nd v 3rd at Lords

Looking likely we play India at Lords next week if we get through - struggle to see a situation where we could actually finish 4th, 3rd or 5th most likely.

New Zealand could go out but would take a massive swing against us and for Pakistan.

Thought it was closer to a 300 than a 330 pitch so think we need to give stokes, Roy and bairstow more credit and less criticism of the Indians. India have a very small batting lineup, only really Kohli and Sharma and Pandya up to much, so they are understandably very reluctant to take risks - this has been the case in every game this tournament. Can’t drop Sharma though that was criminal
 
Hope that if we don’t win it, India don’t win it - not even arsed if the Aussies win it. Sick to f***ing death of Indian fans clogging up Facebook and Twitter with constant bullshit and annoying posts.

Reckon that today was all down to them wanting Pakistan to miss the semis and talking about how their spinners intentionally got hit for sixes :rolleyes:
