Mentally weak...….when the pressures on we fold ..couldn't believe all the laughing and giggling going on on the balcony while we were capitulating ...almost looked like they were in denial

Felt for the punters donating £150 odd quid a ticket to watch them having a bit of a jolly on the balcony. The worst part was Morgan coming out with shit like ‘it’s not hugely disappointing’ afterwards.

The warning signs were there in the Champions Trophy in 2017. Nobody took any notice clearly.

Pakistan beat us, ah it’s only a blip, Sri Lanka beat is, ah it’s just a fluke result.

When will they wake up to reality....

Baffles me as well mate

Loads of us did multi apps for several England games and the final . We all got the Afghan game at OT , plus 4 for today and 4 for next Sunday and that was it
 
Got excited and panicked. My criticism for years with England in ODI's was that we couldn't adapt from the test format well enough/ We'd play cautiously and negatively and it hindered us.

Now we've gone ridiculously far the other way. Bowing short inviting very good batsman to clip us all over and then expecting to bat like a 20/20 and hit a boundary every other ball. Some staggerinly bad shots today and yet again a poor result.

We won't beat India so we'll need a favour from someone. Built up and failed to deliver.
 
Pre the World Cup, the only team I thought India might lose against was England during the group stage. I’ll retract that right now after yesterday’s woeful performance.

I think England are 4 top quality players short of competing with Australia and India for a World Cup.
Dropped catches, overly generous bowlers, poor run rate when chasing and some bad choices at the toss.

Any sort of aura the team had in the ODI game has been wiped out in this tournament. If he can manage to turn this around and lift the World Cup it would be remarkable.

No shame for either of them getting out to those deliveries - get a ball like either of them and if you are lucky you get away with it, most of the time you get out. Root and Stokes have been very good this world cup.

I’d love to know who thought it was a good idea to change it just before a World Cup

And why on earth they changed from a good looking one we’d been smashing everyone in to the washed out Coventry like piece of shit which is horribly similar to the kit we dismally lost our last World Cup final in.

It’s almost as bad as the butchers carrier bag abomination we got relegated in ffs.

The reason they will continue to attend next year, is to watch the most entertaining/exciting cricket the England team has ever played.

People go to watch sport to be entertained and the England over the last 4 years has done that very very good.

Always confused why a test match in New Zealand is very important, while a ODI against the same team is meaningless, that’s just complete bollocks tbh
